Job Description:

As a graduate research assistant, you will work under the supervision of renowned faculty advisors, Dr. Eden L Effert-Fanta and Dr. Robert E Colombo, both esteemed professors in the field. The primary objective of this project is to investigate the population dynamics and recruitment patterns of Channel Catfish in impoundments across Central Illinois. This research will provide valuable insights into the species' behavior, habitat preferences, and overall health.

Required Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

2. Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.

3. Previous experience in fisheries, including field and laboratory techniques.

4. Physical ability to lift 40 pounds.

5. Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.

6. Possession of a valid driver's license with at least 4 years of driving experience.
